Get to know Towerview Church

We are so glad you are here! We have learned that there’s a world of difference between knowing about Jesus and having a personal relationship with him. Therefore, we help one another know Jesus well, follow him closely and tell others what we’ve discovered. Just like you, we are a work in progress.  You don’t have to have everything figured out to visit or visit or join us.  Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome. Our direction is clear: we want to be made whole and holy, not prim and proper.  God created us all to know him, and when we don’t, we are missing our very reason for living

Sunday Gatherings

We normally meet Sunday morning at 11 am for a time of worship and teaching.  We also have regular times of ministry where we pray for one another, asking for God’s blessing, healing, guidance or encouragement.  The services are all livestreamed so it’s easy to get a feel for what a service might be like before visiting for the first time. You can watch previous services here.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, we are socially distanced in church.  Ushers will show you where to sit, and seat you either with your family, or six feet apart from others to ensure you are safe.  We ask that you sanitize your hands when you enter the church, and if you’ve forgotten to bring your face mask, you can pick up a new one at the door.

Even though we can legally meet during Covid lockdowns, we often choose not to, and join the service online.

Time & Location

We meet at 47, Towerview Crescent, Bangor Co Down BT19 6BA at 11 am every Sunday morning. There’s plenty of parking at the church, and safe parking on the adjacent streets if the church lot is full.  You’ll never have far to walk.

Tuesday Prayer meetings

Towerview church meets every Tuesday at 7.30 pm (either at the church or online) for an hour or so to pray.  After a short devotion, we pray for our nation, for Bangor and the Towerview community, and for the needs of our families, friends and neighbours.

Common Questions

Questions are a great way to get to know people.  Here are some common questions we are asked:

Is there plenty of parking? Will I be welcome? Do you really have a woman pastor? Are the toilets handicap accessible? Do you have a closed loop hearing system for people hard of hearing? Does God really heal today? Do you take the Bible seriously? Does your pastor really support Leeds United?  The answer to all these questions is “YES!”
