On Sunday, 27 June 2021, Roger Lyons was honoured for over 40 years of service as Towerview Church Treasurer. Pastor Kathie and Dr. Ivan Filby presented him with a commemorative Boss watch engraved with thanks from the Church. Roger’s wife, Gwen, was presented with a bouquet of flowers. In her remarks, Pastor Kathie commented on Roger’s outstanding service to the Church.

In his remarks, Roger Lyons recalled the Lord’s faithfulness, and the generosity of Towerview Church members over many years, that together enabled the Church to pay off its original loans.

Towerview Church is located in Bangor, N. Ireland, and exists to “Make Jesus known” in the Towerview community, in Bangor, and much farther beyond. It is a church where people find hope and healing; where people can deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and where they can learn to hear and respond to the Holy Spirit’s voice on a daily basis.
