You are invited to join us for a Pumpkin Party – an alternative (less scary) Halloween Party celebrating the light and hope of Jesus Christ. Come along and grab a hotdog, toast some marshmallows to make s’mores and enjoy a warming hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream whilst wandering around and checking out the amazing pumpkins carved by local families. (including yours!) Children are then invited to make a lantern to take home and boogie in the light disco, whilst parents can sit down and catch up with one another over a cup of tea/coffee. We will finish the evening off with a story about a loved pumpkin and finally (once you have all voted for your favourite) we will hear the results of the pumpkin carving competition. Where the winners receive prizes: 1st place: £15 cash, 2nd place: cinema vouchers, 3rd place: crafty goody bag! (Every child will receive a small gift for entering). We would love to invite families to carve a Pumpkin and drop it off before the event where it will be used to decorate the space and entered into our competition.
