The renowned Greenville University Choir from Illinois, USA, performed at Towerview Church as their only Northern Ireland stop in their UK tour.

The leadership and members of the church welcomed everyone for this community event on Saturday 11th March at 12 noon to hear this exceptional choir followed by a time of refreshments. 

Dr Ivan Filby, Associate Pastor of Towerview Church and former President of Greenville University from 2013 – 2020 now lives in Ards. Speaking about the choir’s visit he said, ‘It’s an honour to have the student choir with us.  Music is a core element of the university curriculum, especially contemporary Christian music and so I know that Bangor is in for a real musical treat.’

Stephen Dunne MLA has welcomed the choir to Bangor City for this one-off performance. Speaking about this he said, ‘It’s a privilege to welcome Greenville University Choir to the city of Bangor and I am delighted that Towerview Church is able to host them. I trust that the good people of Bangor come out to support these young people as part of their UK tour and that they have a wonderful time here in Northern Ireland.’
