What an emotional event at Donaghadee Golf Club this morning (5th May) when Timothy Tai, of Barnabas Fund, give his testimony and told us of his love for his wife Sarah (from Banbridge) who died of a brain cancer. It was very touching and Kelly (who served our food) couldn’t help tears fall onto her cheeks and that set others off. The caterer (David) and chef (Neil) also sat with us as Tim held our captivated attention throughout. It was also a blessing to meet Tim’s mother, Elizabeth who enjoyed herself before Tim took her into Donaghadee in such pleasant weather to see the Harbour and Lighthouse. What a beautiful morning, lovely sunny weather, overlooking the Copeland Islands, wonderful food (traditional Ulster Fry) and a speaker who touched every heart present.
